接續過去對影像拆解、變造而再生為個人記憶表述的創作手法，陳崑鋒在本次個展將關注自日常周邊生活拉回時間軸上，回溯家族史及自身成長經驗，藉重遊故地小琉球為起始，將往返東港與小琉球之間的船程濃縮、轉化，拼貼出時間錯置的意象，以半記錄性的繪畫來建構複雜的時序，如同斑駁的老照片的視覺經驗，讓藝術家於創作中重新踏入恍如隔世的故鄉，以現有存在的景色連結過去記憶中的影像，企圖填補缺席的過往。
By continuing the previous approach of dismantling, converting and regeneration the personal memory to express himself, Kun-Feng Chen in this exhibition traces back his family history and experiences of growing up. Starting with collage of images that misplaced in time, he revisited Little Liuqiu, transforming and condensing the images of round-trip boat ride from Litte Liuqiu to Donggang. Constructing the complexity of timetable in semi-documentary painting, the creating process makes the artist re-entering his hometown that has been cut off from outside world for years. As if photos with vintage look are nostalgic, Chen’s new works evoke the memories and attempt to fill up the absence of past.
